About Shawn Patterson

A native of Tennessee, I was born and raised in McMinnville and have proudly called Franklin home for the past 25 years. I earned a degree in Communications from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I developed the strong communication and relationship-building skills that continue to guide my career today.

Before entering the real estate profession, I worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for GlaxoSmithKline. While that role was rewarding, I felt called to pursue a career where I could make a more personal and lasting impact. Buying or selling a home is one of life’s most important decisions, and I wanted the opportunity to walk alongside clients during that meaningful process.

Building relationships is my favorite part of this work. I enjoy using my communication skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic to help clients navigate each step with confidence. The supportive, family-oriented culture and commitment to excellent training drew me to Onward, where people genuinely care about one another and the families they serve.

In my spare time, I enjoy designing jewelry and painting, which allow me to express my creativity. I also love spending time at the beach and the lake—two of my favorite places to relax and recharge.
