Before becoming a REALTOR®, I experienced real estate the same way many clients do—through years of buying, selling, building, and relocating with my own family. My husband and I have moved twelve times over the course of two decades, and if you name it, I’ve probably experienced it: state-to-state relocations, upsizing, downsizing (both by choice and necessity), building homes from the ground up, and navigating both thriving and challenging markets.
Along the way, real estate became much more than a series of transactions for our family—it became a collection of real-life experiences that shaped how I understand this industry today. I’ve spent entire weekends house-hunting in unfamiliar states with four kids in tow. I’ve feverishly cleaned and staged my home before a showing while finishing homeschool lessons for the day. I’ve loaded up kids and pets and waited in the car down the street while buyers toured our home. Those experiences gave me a deep respect for what buyers and sellers go through and ultimately inspired me to pursue real estate professionally. I didn’t learn this industry only from contracts and classrooms—I learned it from the inside of real transactions.
Because I’ve walked through so many of these moments myself, I understand how personal the process of buying or selling a home can be. My goal is to guide my clients with clarity, steady support, and the confidence that comes from experience, so they have peace of mind knowing they’re not navigating the process alone.
My connection to Middle Tennessee began while traveling here as a young person showing Tennessee Walking Horses throughout the 1980s and 1990s. I knew this place was special from the start. I made Middle Tennessee my home in 1997, and my appreciation for the people, the land, and the strong sense of community here has only grown deeper over the years.
Outside of real estate, I am the mother of four children whom I have homeschooled for more than eighteen years. My children are the greatest joy of my life.
I believe God has woven the experiences of my life together into something meaningful I can offer others. I want to help because I care, and I care because I have been there.
